Senior Construction Manager Kansas City, MOWe are seeking a Construction Manager to support the small cell program in KAMO. The role is accountable for all Civil Works and associated financial control via Scheduling (time), SP/ASP, and Quality Management on a given project. The manager will ensure all Service Providers adhere to client standards, processes, and procedures as well as all Federal and Local standards. The role involves identifying continuous improvement opportunities and interfacing with external and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Assessing and controlling charges to the agreed site design.
- Ensuring only approved materials are installed and guidelines/schedules are enforced.
- Attending coordination and progress meetings.
- Providing on-site supervision where risk of disturbances in customer site performance is high.
- Conducting safety inspections and ensuring tools are in good working condition.
- Solving Civil Works problems as required during the project.
- Coordinating site activities to align with project goals.
- Driving schedule activities and troubleshooting results.
- Ensuring Service Providers meet technical specifications and workmanship quality.
- Performing site pre-inspections and coordinating post-construction audits.
- Preparing regular interval progress reports.
- Providing technical assistance to Service Providers and suppliers.
- Rejecting incorrect material deliveries.
- Reporting poor performance and quality on site.
- Interpreting and ensuring compliance with civil design plans.
- Supervising, coordinating, and monitoring works with Service Providers.
- Maintaining and updating construction-specific areas of Site Handler.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in job-related project builds over 500 sites.
- OSHA
30, RF Awareness, CPR/First Aid, and Ergonomics certifications. - Supplier is responsible for tracking and paying for 40 hours of training per 12‑month period.
