Civil Construction Superintendent / Bridge or Railroad Experience / $100-$125K + 10-30% BONUS + GAS ALLOWANCE

Salary $95,000 - $150,000 per year

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent for a permanent position in our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all field operations on the construction site, ensuring that self-performed and subcontracted trade work is in compliance with contract documents and the project schedule. This role plays a pivotal part in coordinating and overseeing the construction process from conception to completion, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent to join our team. This role is integral to our construction projects, overseeing all operations from beginning to end. The ideal candidate will have a background in heavy civil construction, specifically bridge construction, and will have a deep understanding of the construction industry s complexities and challenges. • Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
• Supervising and coordinating the activities of construction teams and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specification.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements, maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
• Coordinating and supervising on-site operations including personnel, materials, and equipment.
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to deliver high-quality projects.
• Inspecting work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and ensure specifications are met.
• Managing and mitigating project risks and issues, and providing timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders.
• Providing technical assistance, interpreting drawings, recommending construction methods, and ensuring quality control.
• Participating in the conceptual development of construction projects and overseeing their organization, scheduling, and implementation.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on bridge construction.
• Proven experience in the railroad industry.
• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team of professionals.
• Excellent knowledge of construction processes, equipment, safety protocols, and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and with clients.
• Proficiency in construction software programs.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed.
• Certification in OSHA safety training or equivalent is highly desirable.
