This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional with experience in asphalt paving, site development, and heavy civil construction who thrives in both estimating and client-facing business development

This role is ideal for someone who understands how to win work, build relationships, and accurately price paving and civil construction projects across municipal, commercial, and private sectors.

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and competitive bids for asphalt paving and civil construction projects
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing analysis
• Develop and maintain relationships with owners, developers, municipalities, and general contractors
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Kansas City market
• Coordinate with operations teams to ensure successful project handoff
• Solicit subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Attend pre‑bid meetings and site visits
• Support contract negotiations and project acquisition strategy

• 3+ years of experience in asphalt paving, heavy civil, or site development estimating
• Experience pricing asphalt paving, grading, utilities, or roadway projects
• Strong understanding of construction methods, production rates, and cost structures
• Ability to read and interpret civil plans and specifications
• Experience with estimating software
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
• Proven ability to win work and manage client relationships preferred
• Valid driver’s license
