Responsibilities Assist with concrete work including site preparation, form setup, rebar placement, pouring, and finishing support
Prepare and clean job sites before and after concrete pours, including grading, compacting, and material staging
Support crews with placing, spreading, leveling, and curing concrete
Load, unload, and transport materials such as tools, forms, and reinforcement materials
Operate hand and power tools to support forming, pouring, and finishing activities
Assist with setting and stripping forms, tying rebar, and installing embeds or anchor bolts
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, especially around active pour operations
Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Work closely with foremen, finishers, and crew members to ensure quality and productivity standards are met Adapt to changing site conditions, including weather and scheduling around concrete pours
Drive continuous improvement and support efficient, high-quality concrete operations
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in construction required; concrete or heavy civil experience preferred
Basic understanding of concrete processes (forming, pouring, finishing, curing) preferred
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow in concrete construction
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds and working in all weather conditions
Basic math and measurement skills
Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a crew Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or travel as needed
