The Project Coordinator supports Project Managers, Project Accountants, and field leadership in planning, executing, documenting, and closing out of civil construction projects. This role serves as a key link between the field, office, subcontractors, and owners, ensuring projects are organized, documented, and progressing efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Assist with day-to-day administrative and coordination tasks across active projects
- Track and maintain project documentation, including contracts, subcontracts, RFIs, submittals, permits, and meeting minutes
- Support project scheduling updates, look-ahead planning, and progress tracking
- Coordinate communication between project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owners
- Assist with procurement activities, material tracking, and subcontractor onboarding
- Maintain accurate project cost records, change order logs, and budget tracking documentation
- Prepare reports related to project status, safety, quality, and production as needed
- Support project closeout activities, including as-builts, warranties, and final documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and project procedures
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with construction documents, drawings, and specifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with field personnel and office staff
