Senior Construction Project Manager (Industrial/Manufacturing)

Overview

The Senior Project Manager leads industrial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful delivery on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. This role manages client relationships, oversees project teams, drives design-build execution, and mentors junior project managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction planning, budgeting, constructability reviews, and design-build projects.
• Develop project execution plans, schedules, staffing, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, contracts, change orders, and overall financial performance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, design teams, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Ensure OSHA compliance, company safety standards, and quality expectations are met.
• Build long-term client relationships while mentoring and developing project staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 6+ years of project management experience with industrial construction projects.
• Experience managing projects within: industrial facilities, including manufacturing, cold storage, food and beverage, and/or logistics.
• Proven success delivering large, complex design-build projects from concept through completion.
• Strong financial management experience overseeing $10M+ project budgets.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, CMiC, or similar project management software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
