A well-established, full-service mechanical construction / Engineering firm is adding a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to its team in St. Louis as part of continued growth. This firm specializes in the fabrication, installation, and service of process piping, power piping, industrial equipment, industrial ventilation, and HVAC systems, with a project portfolio spanning commercial, industrial, data center, healthcare, power, and life sciences markets — including projects where the mechanical scope alone runs into the hundreds of millions.
The right candidate will take ownership of mechanical construction projects from initial planning through closeout, working closely with field leadership and project teams. Both mid-level Project Managers and Senior Project Managers are encouraged to apply — compensation and title will be determined based on experience.

- Manage mechanical construction projects end-to-end, including materials/equipment ordering, subcontract issuance, billing, RFIs, change orders, and submittals
- Maintain a thorough understanding of contract scope, general conditions, and specifications throughout the project lifecycle
- Identify and resolve potential issues proactively before they impact schedule or budget
- Support estimating and business development across plan/spec, design-assist, and design-build project types
- Review fabrication shop work packages, including detail drawings, material take-offs, and labor budgets
- Partner with the Safety team to manage jobsite risk and ensure regulatory compliance
- Experience as a Project Manager in mechanical construction (piping, HVAC, or industrial equipment installation) — mid-level to senior candidates welcome
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Working knowledge of HVAC and piping systems preferred
- Familiarity with construction management software (P6 or MS Project) preferred
