We are looking for a Data Center Construction Project Executive to support critical facility construction projects. The candidate will manage all aspects of a data center brownfield construction project, lead contractors and vendors, oversee project managers, and ensure delivery on budget, on time, and to design standards. Exceptional organization, back‑office coordination (change orders, budgets, paperwork), and team leadership are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain liaison with contractors and vendors to manage day‑to‑day activities impacting delivery of critical facilities construction projects.
  • Oversee a team of project managers handling individual projects within the overall portfolio and provide guidance and direction.
  • Apply solid project‑management construction experience, managing teams of construction professionals, including PMs and superintendents.
  • Manage Data Center Construction Projects with budgets between $50MM to $500MM+.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously and assist the Senior Project Manager in negotiating contracts with vendors.
  • Create and manage project schedules, project plans, cost estimates, budgets, timelines, and change orders.
  • Assist with reporting and RFPs to contractors.
  • Deliver Built‑to‑Suit projects emphasizing value engineering.
  • Drive uniform company standards for project delivery across all projects.
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts, including progress billing, rental equipment, income, and expenses to protect company interests while maintaining good client relationships.
  • Represent the company in project meetings.
  • Act as key liaison with managers of all company departments.
  • Maintain all logs required to track project progress.
  • Possess an extensive network within the mission‑critical data center facilities market.
  • Background in critical facilities design, architecture, engineering, and construction services.
Qualifications
  • Experience managing Data Center Construction Projects as an Owner or as a General Contractor / GC / Trade.
  • Previous experience managing a diverse team of high‑level construction project managers on multi‑million dollar projects.
  • Minimum 8–15+ years of relevant experience in the Data Center Construction Industry, including data center / critical facilities MEP construction.
  • Client‑facing, client‑relationship, and client‑management skills.
  • PMP Certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the design process of building systems for data center and mission‑critical projects.
  • Solid construction project‑management experience.
  • Effective communicator—email, phone, and face‑to‑face.
  • Previous experience in the military; military veterans from all branches are a huge plus. Experience with Electrical / Mechanical:
    Navy NUKES – EMN, ETN, MMNs, Seabees;
    Army – Power Generation;
    Air Force – Power Production, generator techs;
    Maritime;
    Coast Guard;
    Army National Guard, etc.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Solid administrative skills: email, internet, and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.).
