General Superintendent, Data Centre Project & Construction Management Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Superintendent to lead and oversee the construction and project management of cutting-edge data centre facilities. This role is a critical leadership position, responsible for ensuring the successful execution of complex projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

• Oversee all aspects of data centre construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Lead and manage on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Develop and implement project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation strategies.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align construction activities with project goals and specifications.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide accurate financial reporting.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and present progress reports, updates, and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders.

• Proven experience as a General Superintendent or in a similar leadership role within the construction industry, preferably with data centre projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• In-depth understanding of safety regulations and quality control standards.
• Ability to solve problems, make decisions, and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Relevant certifications in construction management or project management are a plus.

• Lead daily site meetings to coordinate activities, address challenges, and align teams on project goals.
• Review and approve work plans, schedules, and progress reports submitted by subcontractors.
• Conduct site walkthroughs to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
• Resolve on-site issues promptly to minimize delays and disruptions.
• Communicate regularly with project managers and stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
• Monitor resource allocation and adjust as necessary to optimize efficiency.
• Ensure all documentation, permits, and approvals are in place and up to date.
