Safety Area Manager
Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction is looking for a Safety Area Manager to help lead and support safety efforts across heavy civil projects throughout the region. This is a hands-on, field-focused leadership role for someone who enjoys building relationships with crews, coaching field leadership, and helping drive a strong, proactive safety culture.
At RLW, safety is not viewed as a separate department — it is a key part of operations and project success. This role works closely with project teams, superintendents, and leadership to support safe execution across some of the West's most impactful infrastructure projects.
Why Join RLW?
Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction offers the opportunity to work on large-scale heavy civil projects across the Western U.S., including transportation infrastructure, structural concrete, bridges, water/wastewater facilities, mission critical/data center construction, and mass excavation projects. Safety is viewed as a true operational partner at RLW, with direct collaboration alongside executive leadership and field operations to help drive both project success and employee wellbeing.
With decades of industry experience and a strong reputation for quality work and long-term stability, RLW provides an environment where safety professionals are respected, supported, and empowered to make an impact in the field.
