JobDetails
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- 5+ years of Project Management experience within heavy civil construction.
- Proven experience managing roadway, highway, bridge, utility, earthwork, grading, paving, or transportation infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, scheduling, and contract administration.
- Experience managing public infrastructure projects for DOT, municipal, county, or other government agencies is highly preferred.
- Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedule, quality, and profitability.
Strong knowledge of heavy civil construction methods, materials, equipment, and safety regulations.
Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders. - Proficiency with construction scheduling software, project management platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with owners, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and field teams.
- Experience leading project meetings and coordinating with field supervision to ensure successful project execution.
- Ability to identify project risks and proactively develop solutions to minimize cost and schedule impacts.
- Thorough understanding of OSHA standards and a strong commitment to maintaining safe job sites.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to project sites as needed.
