Project Manager - JLL What this job involves:

As a Facility Project Manager at JLL, you will serve as a key member of the Project Team, managing multiple concurrent projects across various development phases while delivering superior client service. Your role centers on developing project scope and schedules, managing approved budgets, and ensuring speed to market while maintaining data quality standards. You'll collaborate closely with clients, vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to meet project requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner.

This position offers the opportunity to lead complex, high-impact projects while contributing to both client success and JLL's continued growth through process improvement initiatives and professional development.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Support clients on large, complex projects and assignments while proactively managing project-related issues throughout the project lifecycle

  • Develop project scope and schedules for assigned projects and conduct and document all weekly project meetings with stakeholders

  • Lead cross-functional project teams consisting of architects, design engineers, general and specialty contractors, property management, operating engineers, real estate brokers, environmental consultants, and client teams

  • Coordinate activities of general contractors and technical function relocations while interacting and negotiating with contractors and subcontractors

  • Manage multiple projects at various phases and locations, from project identification through design, planning, client approval, permit issuance, construction, and financial closeout

  • Prepare and update project status reports, process purchase orders and invoices, update tracking reports, and maintain files for due diligence and financial tracking

  • Provide weekly project activity updates to Team Lead and/or Regional Manager covering Project Schedule, Budget, and Risk, while developing risk management plans and leading teams through established work authorization processes

Required Qualifications:
  • 3-7 years of relevant experience in project or construction management, administration/accounting position

  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and track budgets with highly organized and strong analytical skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to interact effectively with executive-level external and internal clients

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a detail-oriented approach and organizational skills to identify and manage priorities

  • Ability to multi-task and work both in a team environment and independently with flexibility for work hours and travel as needed

  • Full accountability for end-to-end management of projects from initiation through closeout

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Business, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management or equivalent experience

  • Project management experience in construction, commercial real estate, and MEP infrastructure

  • Understanding of technical requirements for business relocations and familiarity with architectural drawings, furniture, and space planning concepts

  • Experience with PDS technology applications for assigned projects

  • Knowledge of accounts receivable management and working capital requirements

  • Understanding of risk management plans and work authorization processes with experience in vendor management and compliance

  • Experience coordinating and tracking Vendor RFPs while maintaining accurate and consistent electronic files and documentation
