Senior Superintendent, Data Centre Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Superintendent to join our team specializing in Data Centre Project & Construction Management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and oversee the construction and delivery of cutting-edge data centre facilities. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of expertise in managing large-scale construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Oversee all aspects of data centre construction projects, from pre-construction planning to final delivery.
- Lead and manage on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve challenges and maintain project momentum.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues proactively.
- Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and collaboration across all project teams.
- Proven experience as a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent in large-scale construction projects, preferably in data centre or mission-critical facilities.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
- Familiarity with data centre infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical, and IT systems, is highly desirable.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision‑making abilities under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Lead daily site meetings to coordinate activities and address any immediate concerns.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Review and approve work completed by subcontractors and vendors.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including schedules, reports, and safety records.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing inquiries.
