About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a leading commercial electrical contractor in Kansas City that delivers high-impact projects across the metro—skyline-defining commercial builds, major campuses, and community infrastructure.
They’re hiring an Electrical Project Manager to take full ownership of $5M+ commercial electrical construction projects from precon through closeout. This is built for a PM who likes accountability, fast-moving job sites, tight coordination, and running work the right way—
schedule, budget, safety, and quality all in your hands.
This role is open due to growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead commercial electrical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
- Own project budgets, forecasting, cost controls, and schedule performance
- Drive procurement + material delivery to support just-in-time execution
- Coordinate across field leadership, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
- Track job progress, enforce safety standards
, and ensure compliance with codes/specs - Run project meetings, maintain clear documentation, and communicate updates to stakeholders
What They’re Looking For
Experience managing large commercial electrical projects, ideally $5M+
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and local codes
- Experience with risk management, change orders, and material procurement
- Confident leadership style with strong communication (field + client-facing)
- Proficiency with tools like:
- Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam (or similar)
- Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook/Teams-level daily use)
