DONOR RELATIONS ASSOCIATE

.
Assists the Account Managers in the achievement of whole blood and apheresis collection goals. This is a PRN position.
Essential Functions- Completion of telemarketing functions to educate, thank and sign-up donors for future donations.
- Perform on‑site recruitment, sign‑up tables, and donor flow assistance for blood drives.
- Help educate and convert donors to double red and platelet donations where appropriate.
- Assist marketing efforts through packing, distribution, and inventorying of incentive items, labelling products with recruitment related tags, and telemarketing of sweepstakes winners and donor/recipient meet and greet attendees.
- Help with preparation efforts for special events (e.g. contacting invitees for participation lists, setting up gift tables, refreshments, check‑in tables, etc.).
- Assist with data entry and organizational needs of the department.
- Exemplify CBC's customer service mission and core values.
- Makes recommendations to improve organizational processes.
- Any related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two to three years’ experience in sales and marketing or customer service.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

- Ability to work flexible hours with some nights and weekends.

- Ability to communicate clearly with the general public.
- Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and customers in a helpful, courteous, and friendly manner while demonstrating sensitivity to and respect for diverse populations.
- Ability to work in a strong team environment.
- Ability to be responsive and available to management to address issues and concerns as they arise.
- Must be self‑motivated and a self‑starter with good organization skills.
