Mobile Service Technician
Location: Oakes GMC - Kansas City, MO
Schedule: Full Time | Monday - Friday | 40 Hours a week
Compensation: $30 - $40 per hour (based off experience)
About the RoletWe’re looking for a driven, customer-focused Mobile Service Technician who thrives working independently and enjoys being on the road. This role is ideal for someone who can think quickly, solve problems on the spot, and deliver a strong customer experience outside of a traditional shop setting. What You’ll DoComplete 6–8 service stops per day at customer locations throughout the metro
Diagnose and perform light to mid-level repairs efficiently and independently
Communicate clearly with customers regarding service needs, timelines, and recommendations
Manage your own daily route and schedule while maintaining strong time management
Represent Oakes Auto Group with professionalism and a personable approach in every interaction
What We’re Looking ForWe want someone who is a true go-getter with a strong customer service mindset. You should be reliable, personable, and comfortable making decisions independently. This position requires quick thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt throughout the day as schedules shift.
RequirementsValid driver’s license with a clean or acceptable driving record
Ability to pass a standard background check
Strong reliability and consistent attendance
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
Prior automotive experience required
Previous Service Advisor experience is a plus
