Architectural Project Manager (Registered Architect) Full-Time | Wichita, KS Preferred (Flexible Work Environment) Lead Complex Projects with a Firm That Invests in Its People

This is an opportunity for a more senior Architectural Project Manager who enjoys balancing hands-on production with project leadership. The ideal candidate is someone who can both draw and manage—comfortable serving as a primary designer when needed, while also owning schedules, budgets, and client relationships.

The Architectural Project Manager is responsible for leading projects from concept through construction, serving as the primary point of contact for clients while managing internal teams and consultants. This role is well-suited for an experienced architect who wants to remain technically engaged while taking ownership of project delivery.

While Wichita-based candidates are preferred, the firm is open to strong candidates in other locations. The position supports both career Project Managers and architects who enjoy remaining deeply involved in drawing and design.

• Serve as the primary project lead, managing client relationships, scope, schedule, and budget
• Lead and participate in architectural production, including being a primary drawing contributor when needed
• Develop schematic design, design development, and construction documents
• Coordinate engineering disciplines, consultants, and third-party vendors
• Plan and lead project meetings, including agendas and meeting minutes
• Ensure compliance with building, life safety, accessibility, and jurisdictional codes
• Manage RFIs, ASIs, addenda, change orders, and document revisions
• Review contractor pay applications and change orders
• Oversee billing, invoicing, and project closeout
• Mentor and guide project team members throughout delivery

• 7–10 years of professional experience in architectural project delivery
• Licensed Architect preferred (strongly desired)
• Experience managing projects independently from design through construction
• Ability to both produce drawings and lead project teams
• Proficiency in Revit;
  AutoCAD experience a plus
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• Experience in higher education, aviation, or industrial projects preferred
