The UMKC University Libraries are seeking a curious and collaborative person to join us as a Teaching and Learning Librarian. This position will contribute to the instructional and reference programs within the library, particularly in support of the School of Education, Social Work and Psychological Sciences. Teaching and Learning Librarians work in a team-based environment to ensure that students from all backgrounds develop information literacy skills in their fields.
We are a supportive and evolving group situated in the main library at a mid-sized university in the heart of Kansas City’s vibrant, socially-conscious, entrepreneurial community. This position is a 12-month, non-tenure track, ranked benefit-eligible faculty librarian appointment and reports to the Head of Teaching & Learning.
