Job Title: Team Building and Leadership Development Facilitator
Job Type: Part-Time, flex-scheduling based on availability and demand
Compensation: $17/ hr (paid training at $15 per hour)
Location: Kansas City, MO Metropolitan Area
About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and engaging Team Building and Leadership Development Facilitator to lead interactive and experiential learning programs designed to enhance communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with diverse groups, guiding participants through team development exercises, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities- Facilitate team building programs and leadership development workshops for corporate teams, schools, nonprofit organizations, and other groups.
- Create an engaging and safe environment that encourages participation and teamwork.
- Lead discussions and debriefs to help participants reflect on their experiences and apply lessons learned to real-world scenarios.
- Adapt activities and facilitation styles to meet the needs of different group sizes, ages, and professional backgrounds.
- Collaborate with other facilitators and program coordinators to refine and improve team building initiatives.
- Ensure all activities align with safety guidelines and best practices for experiential learning.
- Communicate effectively with clients before and after events to ensure program goals are met.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Ability to adapt to different audiences and learning styles.
- Comfortable leading both small and large groups in an active, hands‑on environment.
- Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills, with the ability to engage participants.
- Availability on weekdays and/or weekends, depending on program schedules.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to various program locations as needed.
- A background in education, organizational development, corporate training, psychology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of leadership theories, group dynamics, and team performance strategies.
- Experience facilitating team building, leadership development, or experiential learning programs.
