Coordinator of Instructional Practices, Research, and Compliance
Are you an experienced educator and instructional leader with a passion for curriculum, compliance, and supporting teacher growth? We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Coordinator of Instructional Practices, Research, and Compliance to join our academic leadership team. This pivotal role supports the administration in ensuring instructional excellence, compliance with state education laws, and continuous improvement of academic programs across grades K-8.
Key Responsibilities
Instructional Leadership
- Coach and train teachers in grades K-8 to enhance classroom practice.
- Provide direction to instructional coaches and help coordinate classroom visits.
- Maintain documentation that aligns with district initiatives and educational best practices.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to set and monitor progress toward academic goals.
- Assist in the oversight of curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation.
- Ensure all instructional programs are classroom-ready throughout the school year.
- Manage administration and analysis of all school-wide assessments.
- Collaborate with grade-level teams to track student performance and inform instruction.
- Report assessment data quarterly to the school principal.
- Assist with planning academic awards based on assessment outcomes.
- Plan and lead professional development sessions for educators in collaboration with school leadership.
- Support teachers and instructional coaches in implementing research-based practices.
- Guide and support weekly Professional Learning Community (PLC) meetings.
- Report PLC agendas and progress to the school principal.
- Ensure timely compliance with district, state, and charter regulations and reporting.
- Monitor timelines for academic deliverables and ensure all state compliance checkpoints are met.
- Assist with research, organization, and implementation of district-wide initiatives and grant opportunities.
- Minimun of seven (7) years of holding a valid teaching certification and successful classroom experience.
- At least five (5) years of teaching experience in grades K-2.
- At least five (5) years of teaching experience in grades 3-5.
- Strong knowledge of instructional best practices, curriculum development, and data analysis.
- Experience in leading professional development and teacher coaching is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work collaboratively with a team.
