We are looking for an energetic LEAD TEACHER to join our team!
Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential.
The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and has a passion for teaching with strong leadership skills!
Responsibilities:- Assist students individually and in small groups
- Supervise students in the classroom and elsewhere in the school
- Enforce classroom rules and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records
- Communicate with parents and school personnel as requested by the head teacher
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience as a teaching assistant is preferred
- Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
- Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Energetic and positive attitude
- Ability to pass a background check
