6th GRADE TEACHER

South Holt School District is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated
6th
Grade Teacher for this 26-27 school year. The opening is to fill immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students in a supportive and close-knit community. Due to the urgency of finding a highly qualified teacher, we will interview as candidates apply and will keep the position open until we fill the position.

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Assess student progress using formative and summative methods
• Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Provide timely feedback to students and families
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administrators
• Participate in professional development and school meetings
• Maintain accurate records (attendance, grades, documentation)
• Support students’ social-emotional and behavioral development

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (required)
• Valid teaching license or certification (required)
• Classroom teaching experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and families
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and student-centered learning

• Experience with curriculum planning and assessment
• Classroom management expertise
• Comfort using educational technology
• Collaborative and reflective teaching approach
