Position Overview

As an Experitec Field Service Technician in our Engineering Services organization, your focus will be on establishing strong relationships with customers, identifying areas for improvement, and providing calibration, diagnosis, commissioning, and maintenance of instrumentation systems. The role involves utilizing company-provided vehicle and tools, and offers opportunities to work across various industries including manufacturing, chemical, power, refining, oil & gas, food & beverage, pulp & paper, and water.

Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site instrumentation services including troubleshooting, calibration, start-up, and commissioning.
  • Track data and generate site visit and calibration reports.
  • Recommend repair, upgrade, or replacement approaches.
  • Provide customer training and support.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members to support business goals.
  • Collaborate with sales to enhance customer satisfaction and service growth.
  • Complete all reports and documentation timely.
  • Adhere to safety and quality regulations.

    Minimum Requirements
    • Associate degree or high school diploma with relevant experience, or equivalent.
    • Two+ years experience in instrumentation, troubleshooting, and electrical/mechanical systems.
    • Ability to read schematics and P&IDs.
    • Strong customer focus and communication skills.
    • Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree or more extensive experience.
    • Five+ years in relevant instrumentation and control systems.
    • Experience with process control systems, safety systems, and process improvements.
