Overview
Senior Planner / Scheduler in Kansas City, MO. Supports Programs On Site by coordinating with engineering and construction to understand and communicate issues and conflicts that impact program schedules. Analyzes CPM schedules and recommends work-arounds and schedule improvements.
Responsibilities- Maintain on-site presence as tele-working is not available.
- Interact with engineering and construction teams to identify, understand, and communicate scheduling issues and conflicts.
- Analyze CPM schedules and develop recommendations to improve schedule performance and resolve conflicts.
- 10+ years of Planning / Scheduling experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Thorough understanding of building construction, timelines, and practices
- Primavera (P6) experience, including resource and cost loading, managing stored periods, Earned Value reports, and progress reports
- Constructability and value engineering analysis related to schedules
- Claims analysis and change order experience
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Strong MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, INDEX, filtering, data manipulation and summarization)
- Ability to develop cost / schedule analysis presentations graphically and verbally
- Excellent communication skills and understanding of technical terminology
- Business acumen and willingness to engage in other aspects of the business
- Proven planning & scheduling thinking (not a P6 administrator)
Base pay range: $/yr - $/yr. Within the range, pay is determined by location, skills, experience, and education.
