Assistant Electrical Superintendent (Midwest)
Join SOLV Energy, an EPC and solar services provider, to lead energy storage electrical construction projects across North America. This full‑time, onsite position requires a seasoned electrical construction professional with strong safety, leadership, and project management skills.
Job Responsibilities- Lead and manage energy storage electrical construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and resources.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Monitor the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules.
- Mentor junior staff, assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and provide guidance and training.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA policies, and NEC, NFPA 70e, and IEEE standards.
- Promote a culture of safety by enforcing SOLV standards and industry best practices.
- Track and report on project profitability, schedule, quality control, customer satisfaction, and team attitude.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical construction, maintenance, or related field.
- Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- NFPA 70e “Qualified Person” preferred; OSHA 30‑hour construction safety certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, dispatching methods, and practice.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and coordinate.
- Ability to travel and work in varied environments as required by project needs.
- Frequent stooping, bending, crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, and lifting 50+ lbs.
- Constant finger dexterity and depth perception; exposure to environmental conditions.
- Occasional climbing, carrying, and proximity to moving mechanical parts or high exposed places.
