Electrical Engineer

We are working with several Architects, MEP Consulting Firms, and Design-Build Contractors in Kansas City and across the country seeking Electrical Designers, Engineers and Project Managers.

We have openings for candidates with various levels of experience designing Power, Lighting, Fire Alarm, and/or Low Voltage Systems.

Typical projects include healthcare, mission critical, science / technology, educational, government / federal, retail / hospitality and commercial / mixed-use residential.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

• Competency in a wide array of design functions including: equipment selection; system sizing; load calculations; product specifications; design layouts for electrical systems
• Proficiency in preparing electrical design calculations, develop drawings, formulate technical specifications and create technical reports for review and submission
• Able to conduct field audits, survey existing conditions and recording information about building components, including lighting, switch gear, motors and other electrical equipment
• Demonstrate the ability to research and apply building code, energy, regulatory and industry code requirements

Key skills and abilities needed for the positions are:

• Skill in the use of AutoCAD, REVIT, SKM, AGI
  32 and Bluebeam;
• Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups.

Education and Certification requirements are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering;
