Site Civil BIM Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Site Civil BIM Coordinator to work under the direct supervision of an Architect/Engineer or another technical professional within a specific discipline. The candidate will assist in developing the discipline model with guidance from the Digital Design, Architectural, or Engineering staff. The role involves supporting the creation of the discipline model, systems, content, and overall digital delivery output, ensuring accurate modeling of BIM elements using current 3D software.

• Assist in the development of the discipline model.
• Model BIM elements accurately within the spatial constraints of the modeling environment using current 3D software.
• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and diagrams using current 3D software.
• Maintain the discipline model, including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match-lines, views, and sheets.
• Produce discipline‑specific documentation with accurate annotations on all modeling output.

• Proficiency in BIM, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and 3D design.
• Technically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructure.
• Competency in Microsoft Office products and communication tools.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits.
• Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.

• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Capability to handle multiple assignments.
• Basic industry knowledge and technology trends.
• Basic understanding of all discipline relations and site civil design.
• Basic ability to interpret engineering deliverable content as assigned.
• Autodesk Civil 3D certification.
• Preference for local candidates.

The position is based in an office environment in Kansas City, MO. The firm is a leading engineering company across the US and is 100% employee‑owned.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, MO.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Kansas City, MO.
