Responsibilities- Design and prepare plan submittals related to highway and arterial roadway design.
- Complex intersection design, local roadways, site design, drainage design for DOTs and other various agencies.
- Develop design options and document findings for Senior Project Engineer and/or Project Manager.
- Provide input for Requests For Information (RFI's) and review shop drawings during the construction phase.
- Participate in business development activities.
- Represent the organization in client meetings to resolve important questions.
- Inform Project Manager of workload and any changes in project schedule, scope, or additional services.
- Often lead the design team as a lead designer.
