Electrical Estimator

Location:

Kansas City, MO

• Prepare accurate, comprehensive labor and material estimates for electrical construction projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, scope, and schedules to ensure complete and competitive bids
• Solicit, evaluate, and condition subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Price specialty and standard equipment and maintain cost databases
• Identify risks, assumptions, and clarifications—and communicate them clearly to leadership
• Support value engineering and preconstruction pricing efforts
• Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure smooth handoff from bid to build

• 2+ years of electrical estimating experience (commercial construction preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (experience considered in lieu of degree)
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and industry standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  Trimble Accubid v16 preferred
• Excellent communication, time management, and analytical skills
