** Main tasks and responsibilities:
** 1. Perform and lead such repairs as on-site maintenance, repairs, inspections, minor and major overhauls.
2. Perform and lead installation & commissioning activities on both new and refurbished equipment, from reinstatement of the machine through to commissioning, start-up, and operation.
3. Trouble-shooting of gas turbine equipment including condition monitoring and vibration analysis, performance assessment, and supporting RCFA investigations for adverse performance.
4. Execution of service activities on a range of customer site locations including refineries, oil & gas production plants, gas plants, power stations, and water treatment plants.
5. Understanding and interpretation of engineering documents;
Cross Section,General Arrangement , PID & Isometrics, Datasheets & Curves, Manuals.
6. Following work-packs, Standard Operating Procedures, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and quality plan.
7. Leading small team of technicians / labourers to conduct the work activities,monitoring workmanship and developing skills.
8. Interfacing directly with customer representatives and communicating with company management and support network.
9. Safe use of hand tools, power tools, hydraulic / pneumatic tools, and hot work activities.
10. Accurate use of conventional inspection tools and instruments.
11. Safe use of overhead crane and lifting activities.
12. Maintaining tools and equipment in safe and serviceable condition.
13. Maintaining high standard of housekeeping and safety consciousness.
14. Accurately capturing activities in worklogs and timesheets.
15. Attending safety, quality, and technical training as organized by the company.
** Qualifications required:
** Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

At least 5 years’ experience in Gas Turbine maintenance & repairs to OEM standard.

Demonstrable knowledge of repair, installation & commissioning procedures.

Understanding of acceptable repair methods and service operations.
· Knowledge of relevant engineering codes/standards and best practice.

HSE certification such as IOSH Working Safely or equivalent.

Knowledge / certification in safe lifting operations.
