This position is responsible for leading construction‑focused digital delivery and technology solutions across large complex infrastructure projects and programs. The Construction Technology Team Lead will manage and mentor a team of construction technologists while defining technical strategy, workflows and standards that support planning, design, construction and handover to operations.

This role bridges construction operations, VDC, BIM execution, and emerging digital construction technologies, ensuring scalable, secure and practical solutions are delivered to project teams and clients. The position plays a critical role in advancing HNTB construction technology capabilities, client value and staff development.

• Lead and manage VDC teams and enterprise digital delivery initiatives.
• Define digital strategy, technical roadmap and project priorities.
• Oversee team performance, development planning and succession management.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align digital construction with business strategy.
• Ensure delivery of secure, scalable and high‑performing digital solutions.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and team growth.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Associate’s degree or certificate in computer‑aided design (CAD), BIM, VDC or a related field and 7 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field and 5 years of related experience.
• In lieu of education, 9 years of relevant experience.

• Demonstrated success leading construction‑focused VDC or digital delivery teams on medium to large complex infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience supporting construction management, design‑build or alternative delivery projects.
• Strong understanding of construction workflows, coordination and field‑driven technology adoption.
• Experience with BIM governance, automation and construction data integration.
• Strong project management, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience with resource planning, budgeting and operational leadership.
• Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives within the AEC industry.

• Reality Capture processing and collection tools
• Visualization and simulation:
  Unreal Engine, Twinmotion, Unity
• Construction and data platforms:
  Trimble Quadri, ESRI ArcGIS Pro, Headlight, Procore, ACC Build, Synchro
• Digital Twin platforms: AWS Twin Maker, Azure Digital Twins, NVIDIA Omniverse

• Certifications in BIM, VDC, CAD or Construction Technology.
• Certifications in Project Management such as PMP or Agile.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Geospatial Science, Data Science or Computer Science.
• Experience supporting owner and operator construction programs including aviation, transportation, rail, transit or large civil infrastructure.
