Electrical Designer

We are seeking an Electrical Designer to join a leading U.S. based energy solutions and engineering firm supporting major infrastructure and power generation projects globally. As the organization continues to scale its EPC and design capabilities, this role will be central to delivering high-quality electrical layout and modeling support across multiple project types.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented designer who enjoys working hands-on with 2D/3D modeling tools, solving design challenges, and supporting construction-ready deliverables in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

• Develop 2D and 3D equipment models for power and industrial applications
• Design electrical raceway systems including duct banks, tray systems, and conduit layouts
• Route cable through raceways in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and engineering requirements
• Plan and develop drawings for production work including problem analysis, design layout and calculations
• Support the development and refinement of internal design standards, templates, and procedures
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and construction personnel to address design issues and maintain quality
• Stay up to date with the latest technology and industry practices and find practical applications

• Associate degree in drafting, design, or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Approximately 2+ years of electrical design, drafting, or modeling experience
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D design software such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Smart Plant, E3D, Micro Station, etc.
• Understanding of electrical raceway layouts, codes, and construction drawings
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary project team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
