In Kansas City, Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies (FM&T) manages and operates the U.S. Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) Kansas City National Security Campus. SummaryEntry level position performing routine program management functions on assigned projects or sub-projects of a general nature and limited scope. Completes, with detailed instructions, assignments in support of one or more weapon, product/service, or reimbursable programs.
Duties and Responsibilities- Assists in the program management activities to manage one or more moderate to significantly complex program elements.
- Provides input into the review and execution of innovative solutions to technical issues.
- Participates in the development of cost and schedule framework for projects and program elements.
- Participates in the establishment of production/project definitions, maintenance of schedules, and engineering releases associated with weapon or reimbursable programs.
- Assists in the technical, administrative, and logistical liaison roles with company, Department of Energy, design agencies, laboratories, integrated contractors, and other government agencies for one or more program elements.
- Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with other internal business units.
- Bachelors Degree required.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.
- United States Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations).
- Bachelors degree is Business or Engineering.
