Primary Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced metallurgist or materials engineer to join the Global Security materials capability at Honeywell FM&T. This individual will perform a variety of materials analyses, conduct high level research, develop and advance standard procedures, and support production operations. In addition, this individual will assist in materials evaluation, characterization, and operational procedures development to support both production and R&D.
This individual should be able to leverage their experience and engineering judgment to apply multiple analytical techniques to challenging metallurgical problems and provide critical solutions in support of operations.
- US citizenship, needed in order to obtain and maintain required US Dept. of Energy “Q”‑level security clearance
- Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S.) in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, Materials Science, or Physical Science from an ABET accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in engineering, analytical, or related technical activities
