- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and field‑engineering experience.
- Working understanding of RF fundamentals, wireless network architecture, and wireless testing methodologies (LTE, 5G ).
- Strong technical communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- OSHA 10‑hour Construction certification, or willingness to complete during onboarding.
- Prior Walk Test or Drive Test engineering experience with a Tier‑1 carrier, OEM, or telecom vendor.
- Vendor or OEM‑specific commissioning certifications.
- Hands‑on experience with DAS commissioning and integration.
- Field‑based role with approximately 80–90% travel; multi‑day project weeks (typically Monday‑Friday) and multi‑stop project assignments.
- Routine work at heights up to approximately 30 feet via ladders and scissor lifts; routine access to rooftops, catwalks, and elevated stadium seating.
- Routine access to confined and restricted equipment spaces (IDF closets, MDF rooms, MPOE).
- Walk‑test sessions involve carrying a backpack‑mounted test kit (scanner, router, handsets, batteries) while operating a tablet for navigation across multi‑hour sessions.
- After‑hours, overnight, and weekend execution windows are routine, driven by customer‑venue access restrictions.
- Travel via rental vehicle (company‑arranged).
- Project schedules typically firm the week prior to execution; engineers are expected to maintain availability per the schedule allotted by project management.
