This position sits within a high-growth investigative engineering group, focusing on the repair, renovation, and assessment of existing structures. The role blends office-based design with fieldwork, offering exposure to varied and technically challenging projects. The successful individual will play a key role in supporting regional growth, contributing to both project delivery and client relationship development.
Key Responsibilities- Perform structural investigations, assessments, and forensic evaluations of existing buildings
- Prepare engineering reports, drawings, and repair recommendations
- Conduct site visits, condition assessments, and field observations
- Support renovation, retrofit, and restoration projects across multiple asset types
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle
- Contribute to project coordination, technical delivery, and team mentorship
- Assist in building strong client relationships and supporting business growth initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related)
- Proven experience in structural design, investigation, or restoration work
- Strong understanding of building codes, materials, and construction practices
- Ability to interpret field conditions and develop practical engineering solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to balance fieldwork and design responsibilities effectively
- Professional Engineering (P.E) licence or working towards it preferred
