PVT Engineer

This PVT (Plant Vehicle Team) Engineer position is located at the Client Kansas City Assembly Plant (KCAP) where the F150 and Transit vehicle lines are built. PVT Engineers are the 'first line of defense' regarding functional system quality for the products built at the assembly plant. As a PVT engineer, you will handle ongoing product development and improve the quality of the F150/Transit as related to the electrical systems of these vehicles (i.e., electrical distribution, electronic switches, 12V battery, module software and hardware, and sensors).

Experience

Required:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or related field
• 2+ years' experience as Product/Quality Engineer in Electrical / Software Environment

Experience Preferred:

• Master of Science Degree in Electrical/Software Engineering or closely related field
• 3+ years of experience as Product/Quality Engineer in Electrical / Software Environment
• Automotive Industry related experience
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
• 6 Sigma training is preferred
• Experience working in GSAR/JIRA/IRIS/SIMPSN/QED/SREA and WERS
• Good communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to work well with people, specifically in assembly plant environment
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office Applications
• Experience with vehicle OBD systems and CAN networking in-vehicle
