You will have the opportunity to work on some of the region’s largest and most complex water infrastructure projects, while benefiting from strong technical mentorship, professional development, and clear paths for growth.

In this role, you will contribute to the planning and design of water, wastewater, and environmental infrastructure projects, working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and supporting projects from concept through delivery.

  • Perform calculations, develop design plans, conduct site evaluations, and contribute to technical deliverables that improve community resilience and infrastructure performance.
  • Collaborate closely with senior engineers and project managers while also guiding and reviewing the work of junior staff.
  • Use firm TKM systems and materials, contribute to technical knowledge development, and may support poster or presentation materials for conferences.
  • Design civil site and water resources for stormwater systems, open channel flow, culverts, detention/retention, conveyance networks, and green infrastructure.
  • Conduct hydrology and hydraulics analyses for drainage areas, stormwater conveyance planning, and flood mitigation strategies.
  • Perform field and site evaluations to understand existing conditions, verify design assumptions, and support solution development.
  • Develop design plans, details, and technical specifications for stormwater, conveyance, erosion control, and related civil‑site features.
  • Support water resources work across areas such as watershed management, floodplain assessments, stormwater retrofits, CSO mitigation, ecosystem restoration, pressure conduits, and urban watershed planning.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integration across utility, roadway, environmental, and structural elements.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and quality review for junior staff.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge development through use of TKM systems, posing technical questions, and supporting content creation as directed.
  • Participate in team presentations or prepare conference materials as needed. Other duties as assigned.
