SummaryWe are currently seeking an experienced Computer Aided Design (CAD) Manager to lead a dynamic team of CAD professionals and drive excellence in configuration management, drafting, and documentation processes. This role plays a critical part in supporting engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain functions within a fast-paced and technically advanced energy solutions environment.
CAD Manager's Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate CAD activities for complex rotating equipment.
- Oversee the creation, modification, and management of models and drawings using Creo and Windchill PLM/PDM.
- Ensure all CAD designs comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage Bills of Material (BOMs) to align with engineering specifications, manufacturing requirements, and quality standards.
- Support Engineering Change Requests and Notices (ECRNs) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) from creation through execution.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality to ensure alignment and efficiency.
- Provide leadership, technical guidance, and mentoring to CAD team members.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in CAD and configuration management within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Proficiency with Creo, Solid Works, and Windchill PLM/PDM systems.
- Strong knowledge of BOM management and engineering change processes.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Must be fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- U.S. work authorization required (no visa sponsorship).
- Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
