job summary
Our client is seeking a skilled drafter for a 6-month contract-to-hire role in steel building solutions. In this position, you will create detailed shop and erection drawings for pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB) and structural steel. If you have a 2-year technical degree and or 2 years of CAD experience.

- Create detailed shop, fabrication, and erection drawings for pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) structures.
- Interpret structural engineering plans and convert them into fabrication-ready drawings and layouts.
- Detail connections, anchor bolts, framing layouts, and panel systems using CAD software.
- Perform algebraic and trigonometric calculations to ensure drafting accuracy and precision.
- Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and project management teams to deliver cost-effective solutions on schedule.
