We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Accountant to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment supporting both domestic and international financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a background in accounting or finance, and the ability to contribute to process improvements and key business initiatives.
Responsibilities- Support the month‑end close process by preparing and reviewing financial statements for domestic and international entities
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and accounting standards
- Analyze financial performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) at multiple organizational levels
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership for decision‑making
- Assist senior team members with special projects and initiatives
- Focus on innovation, process improvement, and implementation of best practices
- Prepare comprehensive month‑end reporting packages for various locations and divisions
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial reports
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and overhead analyses
- Support deliverables related to year‑end audits, statutory filings, and international subsidiary audits
- Compile financial data packets for proposals and business needs
- Perform ad hoc tasks as requested by management
- Actively participate in team meetings, fostering collaboration and results‑driven outcomes
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience (public accounting experience a plus)
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel
- Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and well‑organized with strong problem‑solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with Oracle, Power BI, and data modeling
- Background in percent complete accounting
This role is based in the Midwest region.
