Controller, Finance & Banking, Financial Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a small, but well‑established manufacturing company to identify its next Controller. This role will serve on the Executive Leadership Team and report directly to the CEO. It’s an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on finance leader who enjoys balancing strategic influence with active involvement in day‑to‑day accounting operations. In addition to overseeing accounting functions, the Controller will play a key role in providing financial insight and strategic guidance to support the company’s continued growth.

• Develop and oversee financial controls, policies, and standards.
• Ensure consistent application of accounting practices and compliance requirements.
• Partner with leadership to support financial planning and strategic decision‑making.
• Oversee core financial operations including accounting, payroll, budgeting, cash management, and assets.
• Manage cash flow planning, liabilities, and financial commitments.
• Lead and coordinate internal and external audit activities.
• Analyze financial data to monitor performance and support business goals.
• Prepare forecasts, insights, and management‑level financial reporting.
• Lead and develop the accounting team across reporting, payables, receivables, payroll, and budgeting functions.
• Provide hands‑on leadership and problem solving across accounting and financial operations.
• Foster a high‑performing, collaborative team environment.
• Effectively prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast‑paced setting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Preferably 8+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
