Treasury Analyst

Aston Carter is partnering with a reputable client seeking a Treasury Analyst for a 3‑month contract with the potential for extension. They’re looking for someone with experience in banking or financial services and a bachelor’s degree. The Treasury Analyst will support the treasury function by assisting with cash management, financial reporting, and the analysis of treasury operations to optimize liquidity and mitigate financial risk.

• Assist in the daily cash positioning and reconciliation processes, ensuring accurate reporting of cash balances across multiple bank accounts.
• Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
• Maintain and update treasury management systems and databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Assist in the preparation of treasury-related reports for management, including cash flow statements and investment performance summaries.
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, and other departments on various projects and initiatives as needed.

• Strong understanding of financial concepts, including cash management, banking operations, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to manipulate data and use pivot tables.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a treasury, finance, or accounting role, preferably within a corporate environment.
• Experience with treasury cash management systems or ERP systems; familiarity with Workday is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Kansas City, MO.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
