Our client is hiring for an Accounting Assistant to join its team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience manipulating large data sets in Excel. This is a hybrid position and hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm CST.
Responsibilities- Support daily cash positioning and reconciliation activities
- Develop and review daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow projections
- Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of treasury systems and related databases
- Partner with accounting, finance, and cross?functional teams to support ongoing projects and ad hoc initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree
- 2-3 years prior experience in a finance-related role
- Strong to advanced Excel skills (critical)
- Experience working with/manipulating large datasets in Excel
- High attention to detail
- Some banking or accounting experience
- Comfortable handling sensitive information
