Operational Risk Management Lead

We are looking for a Lead in Operational Risk Management Lead to support the development and execution of risk management strategies. This role will focus on managing operational risk assessments, identifying risk exposures, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for driving risk identification and analysis across various business units while collaborating with teams to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
** You will be responsible for the following:
*** Provide inputs related to individual workplans and the overall development of the
** Operational Risk Management (ORM) function**.
* Assist in the
** formulation and implementation
** of operational risk management strategies to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
* Perform reviews and
** develop operational risk policies and standards
** for effective operational risk management.
* ** Identify and assess operational risks
** across business units through activities like
** Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA)
** and
** Project Risk Assessments/Advisory activities**.
* Support
** business assurance management
** in developing
** Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)**.
* Assist business units in identifying
** root causes of operational risks
** and provide recommendations to mitigate them.
* ** Monitor operational risks
** and track risk treatment plans.
* Ensure the implementation of
** Incident and Issue Management
** ORM tools.
* ** Prepare reports
** on operational risk activity, issues, and decisions for senior management and committees.
* ** Escalate key risks and non-compliance incidents
** to relevant stakeholders for timely resolution.
** We are looking for: (Key Qualifications)**
* ** Bachelor’s degree
** in
** Accounting**,
** Finance**,
** Economics**,
** Statistics**, or
** Business**.
* At least
** 2+ years of experience
** in risk management, data, incidents, and/or controls within the
** financial and/or fintech industries**.
* Knowledge of
** Compliance**,
** Data Privacy**, and/or
** Information Security**.
* Strong
** analytical skills
** with the ability to assess risk exposures and implement mitigations.
* Ability to
** work independently
** and
** manage multiple tasks
** under pressure.
* Excellent
** written and verbal communication skills
** in English.
* Good understanding of
** process management**,
** internal controls**, and
** risk management
** practices.
* Self-motivated,
** detail-oriented**, and possess strong
** problem-solving skills**.
