The purpose of the Analyst, Revenue Planning role is to partner with the Marketing team to develop budgets and forecasts as it relates to revenue, demand, and key performance metrics. The role will collaborate with our internal customers to develop CPKC's short and long-term revenue and demand forecast, utilizing a combination of statistical analysis and business knowledge. Forecasts are prepared, consolidated and reported for CPKC's daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasts.

• Manage and maintain the forecast and budget, ensuring alignment with corporate goals while delivering valuable insights into operational drivers and efficiencies to support strategic decision‑making
• Develop and execute daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports that illustrate how CPKC is performing against key metrics
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with other stakeholder groups to enable profitable, sustainable growth
• Assist in the validation and publication of internal reporting as it relates to revenues, demand, and key metrics
• Engage with the commercial team to identify market trends and demand changes to enable decision analysis
• Monitor data integrity to ensure consistent reporting
• Partner with stakeholders, becoming a dependable financial expert that stakeholders can trust and rely on for strategic financial advice
• Get alignment to cross‑functional stakeholders to assess the financial viability of investment projects, understanding our network to drive meaningful revenue opportunities
• Automate processes, enhance workflows, and build complex financial models to simplify data analysis and support data‑driven decisions
• Assist in the consolidation of revenue and key metric data for reporting purposes

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Finance, Accounting, Economics or other relevant fields
• Proven ability to consolidate large volumes of disparate data into a cohesive financial analysis that supports strategic decision‑making
• Strong intellectual curiosity and problem solving mindset, consistently identifying root causes, cost drivers, and margin improvement opportunities
• Skilled in explaining complex financial concepts, risks, and results to stakeholders
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, timely costing and forecasting insights
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills, effectively balancing multiple priorities while collaborating across cross‑functional teams
• Adept at translating analytical outputs into clear business insights, bridging the gap between financial modeling and operational understanding
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with stakeholders seeking financial guidance
• Advanced Excel skills with extensive experience analyzing large datasets, building financial models, and automating workflows
