Chief of Staff KC has partnered with a growing wealth management firm who is seeking a dedicated Financial Planner to focus on maximizing client success by managing complex wealth strategies and assist in helping clients achieve their financial goals. This role is vital to the future success of the organization, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive financial planning and relationship management to clients.
• Maintain ongoing client relationships and develop new ones.
• Manage the delivery of wealth management services, including daily client interactions and regular communication.
• Collaborate with clients' other advisors and team to analyze information, develop recommendations, implement strategies, and monitor financial plans.
• Offer customized financial advice and work with the team to deliver expert guidance.
• Participate in and conduct client meetings.
• Prepare and implement financial planning recommendations and communicate updates to clients effectively.
• Maintain accuracy in managing client relationships using internal CRM software.
• Assist in developing annual client review materials, attend client meetings and follow up on action items.
• Attend training and meetings scheduled for the planning teams.
• Establish and track client investment objectives, including risk tolerance, asset allocation, and cash requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field
• CFP, Series 7, Series 66 (or Series 63 and Series 65), or CPA preferred or willing to obtain.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial services industry, with experience in wealth management, financial planning, or investment advisory services.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and financial planning strategies.
• Proficiency in financial planning software (Salesforce, Money Guide, eMoney, and Orion or comparable platforms) and Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
• Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education in wealth management.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
