Loan Documentation & Quality Assurance Specialist
nbkc bank is looking for a detail-driven, quality-focused Loan Documentation & Quality Assurance Specialist to help ensure every loan we touch is accurate, compliant, and ready to empower our customers and partners.
As part of our Loan Administration team, the Loan Documentation Quality Assurance Specialist will play a key role in keeping our lending operations running smoothly, from pre-closing through post-closing. You’ll collaborate with internal teams across commercial and consumer lending, support third-party lending services, and help uphold the regulatory and quality standards that set nbkc apart.

What You’ll Do- Pre-Closing Loan Document Review
- Post-Closing Loan Review
- Perform QA checks for Lending-as-a-Service partnerships to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Conduct pre-closing and final document review for DMI HELOC loans and ensure proper filing
- Perform daily review of interest rate inputs and general ledger/internal DDA balancing.
- Monitor and reconcile internal escrow DDA account.

- Ensure all bank policies and procedures are followed for all duties of the position
- High school diploma or GED required
- 5+ years previous experience working in commercial and/or consumer banking
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of loan documentation, compliance regulations, and banking systems
- Familiarity with HMDA reporting requirements
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in loan administration, documentation review, or quality assurance within a financial institution
- Understanding of UCC filings, CIP requirements, and beneficial ownership regulations
- Specific banking system experience in Laser Pro, nCino, or Phoenix
