The Manager of Investments Services is responsible for the execution and administration of the Community Foundation's investment program. This position oversees investment reporting, Investment Committee support, fund investment reviews, and the onboarding and administration of private and alternative investments. Working closely with the Senior Vice President of Investments and Director of Investment Analytics, the Manager helps ensure investment operations are executed accurately and efficiently, reporting is timely and reliable, and donors, advisors, fund partners, and internal stakeholders receive exceptional service and support.
This role serves as a key operational partner to the investment team, supporting investment oversight, reporting, analysis, and process improvement efforts while helping maintain the systems, controls, and workflows that support the organization’s investment program. This is a full-time, exempt role that reports to the Senior Vice President of Investments. This manager works primarily in the office, with local travel required for presentations and meetings.
RequirementsInvestment Reporting & Administration
- Manage the preparation and delivery of recurring and ad hoc investment reports, portfolio performance reports, Investment Committee materials, presentations, and supporting analysis.
- Coordinate investment reporting activities to ensure information is accurate, timely, and responsive to the needs of donors, advisors, management, and the Investment Committee.
- Support agency fund reporting and other recurring investment administration activities.
- Lead the administration of private and alternative investments, including onboarding, due diligence coordination, documentation, subscriptions, capital calls, distributions, and ongoing investment administration.
- Coordinate with internal teams, investment managers, custodians, consultants, and other service providers to support investment operations and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
- Maintain investment records, documentation, and operational procedures in support of the organization's investment program.
- Conduct investment review meetings across fund types and serve as their primary resource on investment performance, portfolio positioning, and investment philosophy.
- Support relationship management efforts by providing investment-related information and responding to inquiries from donors, advisors, fund partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare investment materials and analyses that support effective communication with stakeholders.
- Support investment manager oversight through performance monitoring, investment analysis, due diligence activities, and participation in investment-related discussions.
- Assist with the evaluation and monitoring of investment portfolios, managers, benchmarks, and other investment vehicles.
- Partner with the Senior Vice President of Investments on Investment Committee activities and strategic investment initiatives.
- Strengthen investment reporting, data quality, and analytical capabilities.
- Support technology, automation, and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Improve workflows, controls, and operational practices that support the investment program.
- Partner across departments to ensure consistent, policy-aligned execution of investment operations.
