INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW

Finance and Accounting Interns at Hallmark have accounting, finance, mathematics, economics, or information systems majors, strong academic records, and demonstrated leadership skills. As an intern you will work on impactful projects rooted in business need. You will be tasked with the development of a problem-solving approach, actual problem solving (which may include some systems interaction), and the presentation of results or recommendations to management.

In addition to your project work, you will have opportunities to expand your professional skill set, connect with corporate senior leadership, and engage in brand and business immersion, social activities, and volunteer events with fellow interns!

The following is required to be considered for this role:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with a major in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, or Information Systems OR pursuing an MBA in Accounting
• A graduation date of December 2027, May 2028, December 2028, or May 2029.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 (must be stated on your resume).

Your resume and application will stand out if you have:

• GPA of 3.5 or above in major (GPA must be stated on your resume).
• Previous internship experience or experience in the Finance or Accounting field.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Must be goal oriented and results driven.
• Excellent communication skills required, both verbal and written, as you work with both internal and external partners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required to analyze multiple systems to ensure data integrity.

• Hallmark's internship program is 12-weeks long, starting in late May and ending in early August.
• Our internships are hybrid positions, with the flexibility to work from both our headquarters in Kansas City, MO, and from your summer residence located within the KC metro area.
• Relocation and housing assistance is provided for interns whose permanent address is outside of the KC metro area. Relocation to the Kansas City metro area is required for this role.

The Final date to receive applications for our Finance and Accounting Internships is October 15. We plan to have all offers extended by Thanksgiving.
